 Some youths have reportedly stoned the aircraft and advanced motorcade of President Muhammadu Buhari with stones The youths also burnt objects on the road and reportedly damaged some police vehicles with stones during the protest Buhari was said to be departing Zawaciki to the Emir’s palace when young boys were seen aiming stones at the chopper



The presence of President Muhammadu Buhari in Kano state seems to have enraged some youths who took to the streets to protest. The youths who were said to be angry attacked the president's convoy with stones in Kano where he had gone to unveil projects built by the state government Read

Besides Hotoro and a few other venues, Buhari flew aboard his Chopper to the Emir’s palace, where he paid homage to Emir Aminu Ado Bayero before driving in a convoy to commission Galaxy Backbone Limited Project. Daily Trust added that after the security left the scene, the youths started bonfires at different locations on the road.


Senator Abdullahi made the comment on Monday, January 30, while commissioning of a rehabilitated stadium in the north-central state. Senator Abdullahi also said President Buhari cannot be at loggerhead with Tinubu as rumoured in some sections of the media.
